Todd and I decided that it was time for Lily to start pitching in around the house. The whole reason that we had kids is so they would do all the work for us. Since our driveway is about a quarter of a mile long and it was covered with eight inches of snow, it was the perfect chore for our two year old. Don't worry, I bundled her up really good before I sent her out.
And just to make sure she got all the snow, I made her go over it with a broom to make it extra clean!!
And since I wouldn't let her come in until the job was finished, Lily had to snack on the snow from her gloves!
P.S. Just in case you missed the
sarcasm in this post, I am just kidding!! Please do not call Child Protective Services on me. I
shoveled the driveway while Lily built a snowman and made snow angels. After we finished I brought her in and made her a grilled cheese sandwich, some soup, and some hot cocoa with marshmallows!

I'm impressed that you shoveled. I let my snow pack down for a few days until Preston decides to take care of it.
i'm really glad she's earning her keep. i was going to say something to you earlier about how she's been getting a free ride for way too long now.
