The new smack...
Owen learned a brand new trick from his cousin James. A couple of weeks ago we were over at my parents house for Sunday dinner and we were very entertained with the funny smacking noises James had recently started to make. The very next day, Owen started to make the same exact noise!! Coincidence? I don't think so. I think James taught it to him when they were hanging out on a blanket together. He may have learned the trick from James, but Owen does have his own unique style of smacking. He likes to use his tongue. I have been taking a ton of pictures for my photography class the past few days, so I have a few pictures of him showing off his new trick...

he is so cute jeni! such a good and happy baby too! i agree with we need to get together again soon! u can come to our lost party next thursday if u want! i'm sure it might be too late and hard with the kids but you are totally invited! oh and i love the pictures of lily shoveling. i was reading it and i was like wow i can't believe her 2 year old will do that haha.
I love that hat smack picture. How cute! I need to be taking your photography class.
