Last Friday, my
sistas and I had a
GNO (girls night out) (sidenote, if you haven't checked out Seriously, so blessed, you really need to. And if you don't think it is funny, I don't know if we can be friends anymore!). We went to the Jack Ingram/Martina McBride concert up at
USANA. There is no way that I would ever be able to drag Todd with me to this kind of concert, so I am really glad that my sisters all love country music as much as I do. I am a huge fan of Martina McBride, so I was really excited to go. I can't think of very many songs that she sings that I don't love. It was a really fun concert and Martina was absolutely amazing. Besides the great entertainment on the stage, we had plenty of other entertainment going on all around us. I've noticed that country concerts tend to bring out a certain crowd of people, very interesting people, who look like they just walked over from their trailer park across the street, if you know what I mean. We had a couple of these fine ladies sitting a few blankets away from us. They started dancing when Jack Ingram was singing. It was pretty funny to watch. A couple of beers later, they were hilarious!! They were trying so hard to sing along, even though neither one of them knew the words. And their dance moves were priceless!! I would've posted a video of them, but Krista was worried that it would be rude if one of them happened to see it. So if my white trash friends are reading this...thank you so much for the show, it made the concert even better than it already was!!
