Your first birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks. We are all really excited to celebrate your one year mark. However, no one is going to be able to come to your birthday party if we can't get some invitations in the mail soon. How are they supposed to know the time, date, and all the other important information without an invitation? I'll admit, I have procrastinated just a little bit. I thought about it in June, then again in July, and before I knew it August was here. So, we really need to get the ball rolling. What I need from you is one decent picture. Just one, that is all I'm asking for! That shouldn't be too hard, right? So, here is what I had in mind...
Not like this! This one is pretty cute, but it screams "school pictures". If you were headed off to kindergarten, this one would totally work. But this is your first birthday, we need to lighten it up a little.
Ummm..definitely not like this! Let's get all those boogers out before the picture though.
I don't really know what to say about this pose. If we use this one, you might regret it later on!
With this cute little face, we should be able to come up with something! All I'm asking for is a little cooperation on your part!Love,

Seriously, One year already?
Owen and Lily are so sweet, and it's so much fun to watch them play and grow up. Oh, they are so cute too, I wonder if that has anything to do with having a cute mom and dad?!

ok i think all the pictures are cute stop being so picky jeni haha jk. the last one is priceless though it is so stinkin cute. i read your comment on my blog just barely and i have to say i am a little disturbed now as to what they do to us!
