Wedding Day: Part 2...

I spent most of the day focused on Kellie and McKay, but I did get a few pictures of us throughout the day just to prove that we were there.
First off is this lovely shot of Lily holding on to her Ritz cracker for dear life. By the time Kellie and McKay came out of the temple, Lily was really tired and really hungry. We gave her some snacks, but since she was tired the snacks had a difficult time making it to her mouth. When they first came out of the temple, Lily had a couple of Apple Jacks in her hands. She accidentally dropped them and in the excitement, people stepped on them, smashing them to pieces. Lily knelt on the ground and sobbed over her lost snacks. Then we tried Cheerios while we were taking the big family pictures. Since Lily was still upset from the Apple Jacks incident, she was flailing her arms and knocked the Cheerios all over the ground in front of the stairs. I haven't seen the pictures yet, but I'm sure if you look close in the group shots you will see the ground littered with little O's. Then Grandpa gave her a bag of M&M's. She loved it, but I cringed when she had to sit next to Kellie's beautiful white dress. (Yeah right they only melt in your mouth!) So, Lily was grateful to get her Ritz cracker and to eat it in peace. I love how defensive she looks in this picture. After what she had been through, can you blame her?
Next is Owen and I taking a break from all of the pictures. I think Owen was a little upset that I hadn't been paying attention to him. (He looks like he is fighting the urge to flip me off. I think that he decided that would be inappropriate in front of the temple!)
Poor Todd had the job of chasing the kids all day long. By the time the three of them made it to the reception he was exhausted. This is him standing guard out on the golf course, making sure Owen didn't try to eat any of the sand.
Apparently Owen didn't understand that this was going to be a silly picture.
Lily was fascinated by the holes on the golf course. She especially loved the ones that were filled up with gross muddy water.
Owen fit right in on the golf course in his snazzy sweater vest. Here he is retrieving his ball after a hole in one. (In case you didn't notice, check out Lily casually flashing the camera in the background! That's my girl!!)

Ok, all I can say is that the pictures are amazing. You did an awesome job with them all, your sister looks so gorgeous, your picture captions are always so creative and make me laugh, the colors she chose turned out way cute, and you look so pretty! Yes Todd does look exhausted, but what a trooper for handling the kids all day! Glad it all went smoothly and that you had a good time!
