Amber waves of grain...

Last night, I took Lily and Owen on a bike ride to a big field near our house. I love the way the field looks when the sun is setting in the evening! Lily and Owen were in a pretty good mood, so I attempted to get a couple pictures of them. Lily did a pretty good job hanging out in the field. Owen was way more interested in trying to eat all the stuff on the ground. We didn't stay too long because I looked down and noticed a big grasshopper right by my foot. (For those of you who don't know, I have a huge fear of grasshoppers! I just about rode my bike into the canal when one of them jumped up and hit my leg while we were riding home.) Anyways, if I'm feeling brave I might have to back and try again sometime because I love that field!

I don't blame you about the grasshopper thing, they are kind of weird...

Those pictures are amazing. How about taking my family picture in that field? I might break your camera though and we certainly wouldn't be as cute as your kids are.
You really are a very talented photographer and I love all your pictures.

Beautiful photos!!! What a talent you are!! I'm sure it helps that your kids are darling.

P.S. What is it about grasshoppers that they are so easy to hate??? Creepy.
