We just got back from a rainy week at the beach. I know that doesn't sound like too much fun, but trust me it was! The rain was no surprise since we were staying on the Washington coast and it doesn't get that green and beautiful without a little bit of precipitation! My entire family headed up to a beach house just outside of Ocean Park, Washington. Lily and Owen had so much fun spending all week with Grandpa, Grandma, and all of their aunts, uncles, and cousin James. We went to Astoria, Long Beach, Seaside, and Cannon Beach. We visited the Astoria Column, Cape Disappointment Lighthouse, and North Head Lighthouse. We even went on our own little Goonies tour around Astoria and saw Mikey's house, the high school, the County Jail. Todd was a little disappointed that we didn't see Sloth, but I think we saw Chester Copperpot out watering his lawn. We raced go carts, ate yummy ice cream, flew kites, and searched for sand dollars. We also had a ton of fun just hanging out at the beach house, eating way too much food and watching the Back to the Future trilogy. Anyways, here's some of the pictures from the trip...
