Orem Summerfest...

I grew in Orem and I have tons of great memories going to the Summerfest every year. Lily had the chance to go last year, but this was Owen's first time. We really wanted to go to the parade this year, but we got there a little late and we couldn't navigated two strollers down the packed sidewalks. So, Grandma and I took the kids over to the carnival. There was a fun little boat ride that Lily wanted to go on and I went to buy her a ticket. I didn't have any cash so I had to make a minimum purchase of twenty tickets in order to use my debit card. (They really know how to get you!!) Lily ended up getting to ride every single kiddie ride they had and we still had extra tickets. It wasn't a total waste because she had a great time. On every ride she would lean out to yell to Owen as she flew past. We couldn't hear her but I assume she was yelling something like.."Owen, look how much fun I'm having!! Don't you wish you were bigger so you could come too?". He thought she was funny and he would laugh really hard every time. Don't feel bad for Owen, he did get to ride the carousel and he had a great time too. After the rides, we headed over to the baseball field for the fireworks. We had a great time. Hopefully next year Todd can come with us because we missed him!
