Last weekend there was a really fun festival at Thanksgiving Point. They invited a bunch of artists and sculptors to come to the gardens. All of the artists were scattered around the gardens creating beautiful artwork and we got to walk around and watch them work. I was really excited for it and I was not disappointed. Lily, Owen, and I spent a couple hours wandering around peeking at all the paintings. We took a little break at the Italian garden so that Lily and Owen could get out of the wagon to stretch their legs. Lily danced...
And then I tried to get a picture of Lily and Owen together, which never works really well and here is why....
First of all, I get them all set up and as soon as I move back they both refuse to look at the camera.
Then, Lily gets Owen in a head lock to keep him from escaping.
But, Owen is a sneaky little guy and he gets away!
Lily is not going to give up that easily, so she grabs Owen and body slams him on the grass!
In the end, Owen finally escapes! Note the look of fear on his face.
And Owen spends the rest of the afternoon constantly looking over his shoulder to make sure Lily won't sneak up on him!
