Today we went with some friends to the farm at Thanksgiving Point. We looked at all the farm animals, took a wagon ride, and rode the pony. It was a lot of fun because Lily is finally getting to the point where she knows which animal is which and what sounds each of them makes. She walked around and pointed to all of the animals and said" Cow..Moooo!, Sheep...Baaaa!, Horsey...Neigh!". Even though she loves to look at them she still gets really nervous when she gets close. At one point, we were walking by the chicken cages and one of them jumped up on a box by Lily. She freaked out! She was completely happy, as long as the animals kept their distance. Lily and the other kids had such a great time, we'll have to go back more often!
