A couple of weeks ago I was looking at random blogs and I saw a picture of this park down in Orem. I grew up in the Orem-Provo area and I never knew this place existed. It looked like a gorgeous park so I went to the city website and found out the name and location. For the last few weeks I have been looking for an opportunity to go check
Nielsen's Grove out. Yesterday, we were bored, so I suggested that we take Lily down there. It was better than I even imagined!! First of all, the park is beautifully maintained for a city park. There is a big playground with toys, a pond, large grassy areas, beautiful gardens with tons of flowers, and picnic table areas that were picturesque. On top of all of that, there is a reflecting pond and a pond with a fountain that the kids can wade in!! Lily had a blast slashing in the fountain! We didn't even have time to put her in her swimming suit, she just climbed right in. After Lily took a dip in the pool, we went over to the big swings. I don't know what those things are called, but there is a picture of Todd and Lily playing on it. The two of them had a great time! I was seriously impressed with our new discovery and we plan on going back there very soon!

That place DOES look fun! I may just have to drive to Orem for it!
