On Friday we went to the Wild Animal Park. Last time Todd and I went to San Diego, we went to the San Diego Zoo. So, we wanted to try the Wild Animal Park this time. We weren't disappointed. There were so many things to see that we didn't get to see it all in one day. We concentrated on all of the hands on activities to help keep Lily entertained. We went on the ride that drives you through some of the exhibits. It was fun to see the animals just roaming free. Some of our other favorite spots were the little petting area where Lily got to feed the deer, the butterfly greenhouse, and the place where we got to feed the birds. The whole time we were trying to feed the birds Lily desprately wanted to pet them. Of course, the birds didn't like that very much. When we went to the gift shop a little later, Lily fell in love with a little stuffed animal version of the bird. So, now she can carry it everywhere and pet it all she wants!
