It's beginning to look a lot like winter..(and fall!)

I have been dying to go up the canyon to see all of the leaves. On Thursday, Lily and I went with my friend, Nicole, on a picnic up American Fork canyon. We wanted to take pictures of Nicole with her two little boys in the leaves. But, as soon as we finished eating it started to rain! So, we headed back down the canyon without taking any pictures. Friday the temperature around here plummeted. I had to go buy Lily a couple pairs of footie pajamas so she wouldn't freeze to death at night. Needless to say we didn't go outside at all. Today, was still pretty cold but we decided to brave the canyon again. We went with my dad and mom, and Andrew and Kim. I guess yesterday it snowed up in the mountains. So, most of my pictures were of the beautiful leaves covered in a thin layer of snow. I ended up with my pants completely soaked because I was running around in the bushes. Lily was outside a total of ten minutes and seems to have developed a cough tonight. I hope that this early snow doesn't mean winter is coming soon..I love fall too much!!
