It is always so hard to get a good family picture! We have been talking about it for months. I needed to have a few pictures for a Relief Society Super Saturday project that I am doing next week so we were up against a deadline. We picked out all of our outfits and were already to go on Saturday afternoon. And then a gigantic thunderstorm rolled in and brought a lot of rain with it. So, we had to try again on Sunday. Since both us and my parents have afternoon church, we got a late start. We headed out to a field in Alpine to see what we could get. Taking good pictures is tough, but taking them with a nine month old is almost impossible!! For the first few minutes she could not keep her shoes out of her mouth. Then we took her shoes away and she could not stop staring at them, not the camera. Then she decided that she was going to watch the cars go by on the busy Alpine Highway. So, it took my mom and Kellie dancing around like maniacs to get her to even glance at the camera. We did get a few where Lily actually smiled and Todd did not have his eyes shut! I'm working on fixing a few of them in Photoshop so hopefully they'll work for my project.
