So, lately I have been bitten by the crafty bug. A couple of weeks ago, I went to Roberts and bought several unfinshed wood Halloween decorations. I turned Marilyn's table into my studio and spent several days painting my pumpkins and witches. It was kinda funny because I really don't have anywhere to put them, I just felt like painting. Last Saturday I went with my Mom, Kellie, and Kim to Super Saturday. I made two projects that took me the entire morning to finish. The first was a tile picture frame. I used all of the family pictures that we took last week. I had to paint the frame twice before I was finally happy with the color. But, I really like the way that it turned out. The second project is the board with the wreath. It is for my future living room. It didn't take nearly as long because I already knew what color I wanted to do it. Last week, I was telling a friend at work about how I was going to other ward's Super Saturdays. She invited me to hers and brought me a flyer with all of their projects on it. So, I signed up. I need more things to go in my future house. I think this has been my therapy to help me deal with the house being continually pushed back. The bright side is, the longer it gets pushed back the more time I have to decorate it!!
