Getting ahead...

For the last few weeks I have felt like I have behind with absolutely everything! Housework, homework, editing pictures from my photo sessions, Christmas and birthday shopping, and the list goes on and on. There has been so much going on that I can barely keep up!! I know that things aren't going to slow down any time soon, so I am really trying to get ahead. Next week is Lily's 2nd birthday, Owen's 3 month birthday, and a little holiday called Thanksgiving. So, it's gonna be a busy week to say the least. I was a little worried that in all the craziness, I would forget to take Owen's 3 month pictures. So, during Lily's nap this afternoon, we did a little photo session. I know that I am a week early, but I wanted to do a post all about Owen at three months. Owen is still a perfect baby. He is so incredibly good natured. He rarely cries and then it's usually because he is hungry or because Lily is smothering him with hugs. Owen has the most adorable smile that totally melts my heart. My favorite sound is when he gets really excited and he squeals! He will have little "conversations" with me when I am holding him. It cracks me up because he looks like he is really talking about serious things. Owen is almost 15 lbs now and has cute little rolls all over. His chubby little cheeks are so fun to squish! I absolutely love snuggling with him. Owen's favorite things right now are eating, kicking his legs, sucking on his hands, bouncing up and down, and standing up (with help of course!). He is the happiest when he is getting his clothes changed. There are only a few things he doesn't like. He doesn't like tummy time or Lily sneaking up on him. Owen, I hope you know how much Mommy loves you! Happy 3 month Birthday! (in one week!!)
