The past few weekends I have had a couple of photography jobs. It has been so much fun to practice on other people and I have learned so much!! One thing that I learned is that I really need to work on my focus. I usually just rely on the camera, but then I end up with some great shots that are totally blurry. So, I decided to practice today on the one person who will not complain. During Lily's nap today, I put Owen down on a blanket to working on focusing manually. I took over 100 pictures and only about a third of them were in focus!!
I loved this angle because it shows off Owen's cute double chin! My little baby is getting so big. Todd tried to weigh him last night and he says he weighs somewhere between 12 1/2 lbs and 14 lbs. My guess is that he's right around 13 lbs. We have a doctors appointment in a week and a half, so I guess we'll see for sure then!
We are finally working on getting Lily off her
binky. As a result, she doesn't sleep as well as she used to. And of course she woke up and wanted to get in on the action. Poor Owen!! He's a tough baby though. He took this blow to the face and didn't even cry! He was also a good sport about eating the sucker and the potato chips that Lily fed him today. I was working on the
laundry and when I came back in to pick up Owen, his face was all blue. I asked Lily what happened and she said, "Owen wanted a sucker." Sure he did...

I love that first pic! He is getting cuter and cuter! Is that gas pump onesie symbolize the traits passed down from his daddy?
Off the binky? You are one step ahead of us. Kudos to you! I just can't imagine...
of course he wanted a sucker. lily knows what she's doing.
jeni and todd. this would usually be something i would call and tell you, but since i'm at work and am not ready to announce at work - i'm pregnant. yes, we are insane and decided that with the 20 minutes of sleep we're getting a night we had enough time to be raising another child. so, this puts our fun bunch trip off until...may 2009? no more babies until then, got it group?
