Playing chopsticks

For my birthday, DeeAnn (a.k.a. Auntie Dee) took Lily and I to dinner at Tepanyaki. Last time we went there Lily was absolutely fascinated by the fire when the chef lights up the grill. This time, she just about had a heart attack! She started freaking out and almost fell out of her highchair. I felt bad because it was so funny and I couldn't help but laugh!! The rest of the time the chef was cooking the food Lily kept a very untrusting eye on him. She was just waiting for him to do it again! After he left, Lily relaxed a little. We had been eating for a few minutes when we looked over and realized that Lily was trying to use her chopsticks! She was only using one of them though. She would take the chopstick and stick it in her bowl of rice. Of course, nothing came out on the chopstick so she would grab some with her hand and shove it in her mouth. It was pretty entertaining to watch! I give Auntie Dee all of the credit for making our little girl very cultured!

Is this helping to keep her on the path of gaining 2 pounds a week?
