I am so glad that we are almost done with winter!! I ready for spring and warm weather. I am looking forward to watching the weather and not seeing any snowflakes in the forecast. There is supposed to be another storm this weekend, but hopefully it will just be a little rainy. I can handle the rain, I just don't want anymore of the white stuff. Even though Lily and Owen are still a little sick, it just seemed wrong to waste this beautiful spring day inside the house watching the same old episodes of the Wonder Pets over and over again. So, I took my little snot nosed children to the park. It was Owen's first time in the bike trailer and he was loving it!! Maybe the cool breeze felt good on his
boogery nose! When we got to the park, Lily was a little hesitant to play on the playground, which was strange because last year she acted like she owned the playground. She climbed up the steps, but when she got to the top she freaked out and wouldn't climb onto the platform. It took me a while to figure out what she was so afraid of. The platform had a bunch of holes in it, so she could see the ground. I finally realized that she thought she was going to fall if she stepped on it. I had to climb up a ladder with Owen to show her that it was safe to walk on. Once she realized that she wasn't going to plummet to her death, she was unstoppable. After a while, a bunch of kids came out to play. Lily was having a tough time getting a turn in. The great thing about our neighborhood is that there are several little parks to choose from. When that one got too crowded, we just hopped on the bike and went to another one. When we got to the next park, I went to get Lily and Owen out of the trailer and Owen was fast asleep. I laid him down in the bike trailer and let him snooze while Lily played for a while. I love going to the park for so many reasons, but my favorite is the fact that Lily totally wears herself out playing and she is taking a long nap right now!!

Oh, Jeni...I need photography lessons from you. Honestly, I'm in awe of all of the pictures you take. Those 2 swing pictures of your kids are adorable! Poor Owen in the bike trailer....it must have been cozy enough if he fell asleep.
