Both of the Boston kids were in desperate need of hair cuts. So, since Todd had the day off we decided to spend the afternoon getting them both a little trim. First up was Lily. At one point in time I actually let Todd cut Lily's hair. He didn't do half bad and she would have looked totally fine...if she was a boy. But, since she is a girl we decided to leave her hair to the professionals (aka Cookie Cutters in Fort Union). For Lily's hair cut she got to sit in a cute pink car with her pink cape on while watching 'The Incredibles'. Weston did a great job cutting while she sat quietly in the chair. When she was finished she got a balloon and a sucker.
Owen was up next and his experience was just a little different. After dinner, he got stripped down to his diaper and hauled into the bathroom. Owen doesn't really enjoy his hair cuts (for some strange reason), so he wiggles around quite a bit. Todd pretty much keeps him in a headlock, while I hold his arms down. Needless to say, he wasn't too happy by the end. When he was done instead of a sucker and balloon, he had to take a bath and go to sleep.
Anyway, here are the before/after pictures. Even though we go about hair cuts in totally different ways, both of them ended up looking pretty darn cute!
(P.S. Just kidding about the favorite thing!)

oh, and try giving owen a sucker while todd cuts his hair. that is what we did for liam when he was younger.
So cute! I think Elli is long overdue for a haircut and she loves that place! I only wish I could blog as cute as you! I have been a slacker and my blog looks so boring after yours!
